This project is a request by a representative of Smålands Nation in Lund organizing a student club. The club is female and trans separatist and called "Fuck the grabs". I first made a poster for the first time the organizer held this club and then was asked to do one for the next time as well, this time including a facebook banner. Therefore this project has three results for two different occasions.
The picture above is the sketch that became the base of the project.
The picture above shows the poster for the first club, the color scheme is red since the nation is left-oriented and since the illustration is quite detailed the background consists of basic circles, brightly colored to pop out. This poster is done completely by hand with graphite pencils, coal, fineliners and a promarker.
This is the poster for the second occasion. I was asked to use the illustration from the first poster, to renew the layout in a way that I saw fit and to include the text asked for by the organizers. The same information and theme was to be included in the facebook banner as well. The biggest difference here is that I had begun my education as a graphic designer and this time I'm able to work with the project digitally.
The background pattern is inspired by activist posters combined with a typography matching the one that the nation is using.
